AI Software Developer Intern (Undergraduate - Summer 2027)

Job description

Position Purpose: Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Job Duties: Research and apply AI agents across specifications, coding, implementation, documentation, and delivery Build AI-supported dashboards and integrated developer-portal capabilities by identifying, connecting, analyzing, and visualizing near-real-time data from development tools Analyze and generate specifications, JIRA stories, acceptance criteria, project layouts, implementation plans, and other automated project artifacts Create training and documentation, support adoption of AI-enabled development practices and explore emerging technologies Learn various job functions within assigned department Perform various tasks and project-based work Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies Perform other duties as assigned Comply with all policies and standards Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
