Add Applystead's job search to ChatGPT or Claude and ask for jobs in plain language. Your assistant searches the open jobs Applystead publishes from employers' own career sites, lists a company's open jobs, and checks whether a posting is still open. No account is needed.
What it does
- Search jobs by keywords, company, remote country, internships or new grad, listed pay and how recently they were posted, newest first.
- List a company's jobs: its 10 newest jobs, open roles and application system.
- Check a posting: paste a job URL to see whether it is still open.
Every result links the Applystead job page and the employer's own posting.
Add it to Claude
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Choose Add, then Custom and Web, name it Applystead, paste https://applystead.com/mcp as the server URL and choose no sign-in (Anthropic's guide).
Add it to ChatGPT
Applystead will be available in the ChatGPT apps directory once it is listed. Until then, if your ChatGPT account has developer mode, create a custom connector with the URL https://applystead.com/mcp and no authentication (OpenAI's guide).

Yes. The Applystead MCP server needs no account, sign-in or API key. It is read-only and allows 60 requests a minute from one address.
Can ChatGPT or Claude apply to jobs through Applystead?
No. The connector only searches jobs, lists a company's jobs and checks whether a posting is still open. Applying happens in your Applystead account.
Where do the jobs come from?

Does the connector see my chats or personal data?
It receives only the tool arguments your assistant sends, such as a search query or a posting URL. Applystead does not store the requests or log the arguments, and no tool asks for personal data.
