Job description
Ready to do the most impactful work of your career? At Coinbase, we are uncompromising on our mission to increase economic freedom. The bar is high, the environment is intense, and we like it that way. This isn't a place for complacency, it’s a place to be pushed past your perceived limits. If you're ready to build the future of finance alongside people who refuse to settle for "good enough," you belong here. Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” learn more about working at Coinbase.
The Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) is building crypto infrastructure at scale for any business, anywhere. As the Wallets PM, you will own the Flexible Custody roadmap serving fintechs, brokers, and corporates around their custody and DeFi needs.
What you'll do:
- Own the Unified Custody roadmap end to end
- Define the product strategy for custody model optionality, so customers choose self-custody, custodial, or hybrid per use case without rebuilding integrations.
- Partner with engineering, security, legal, and compliance to launch custody and DeFi products that meet the institutional bar for key management, controls, and regulatory posture.
- Translate customer and launch-partner needs into a prioritized roadmap tied to assets-on-platform and revenue targets.
- Measure and grow adoption: AOP and revenue, with clear funnel metrics from integration to funded accounts.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of product management experience shipping developer-facing or API-first products, ideally custody, wallets, or fintech infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of crypto custody models (self-custody, MPC, qualified custodian) and DeFi primitives (lending, vaults, onchain yield).
- Track record of shipping 0-to-1 products with engineering teams and taking them to production scale with enterprise customers.
- Comfort operating in regulated environments; experience partnering with legal and compliance on licensing, asset segregation, and risk frameworks.
- Data-driven prioritization: you define success metrics up front and hold the team accountable to adoption and revenue outcomes.
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Position ID: P78830
