How to use it
- Enter the gap dates. Type the months or years you were not working, the same way the dates appear elsewhere on your resume, such as March 2023 – January 2024.
- Give the reason. Say why you were not working in plain words: caring for family, health, a layoff, study, a move or travel. Share only as much as you are comfortable an employer knowing.
