Applystead publishes this page and competes with Sonara. Facts about Sonara come from its own public pages, cited in the table and under Sources; prices and features change, so check its site before you decide. How we write comparisons.

Summary

Sonara, at sonara.ai, is an AI job search service that says it continuously finds and applies to relevant job openings until you are hired. Older articles describe Sonara as shut down; on the date we checked, sonara.ai was live, listing jobs and taking sign-ups, and its terms of use name BOLD LLC as the provider.

Sonara's public pages list no prices. Its terms say a subscription renews automatically at your next renewal date or before you submit your 11th application, whichever comes first, that it may issue a refund if you cancel before a trial ends but does not guarantee refunds after a trial has expired, and that canceling does not withdraw applications already sent.

Applystead's free account includes 10 AI-tailored resumes and up to 10 prepared applications a day. Standard prepares applications you review one at a time and submit with one click, up to 200 a day, and Premium applies automatically only after your separate approval.

We make Applystead, so read this page with that in mind. Every Sonara fact below comes from Sonara's own public pages, checked on the date shown, and links to the page it came from.

Is Sonara still running?

Yes, on the date we checked. Several articles still describe Sonara as shut down, but sonara.ai was live: its home page listed recent jobs, its setup flow took new sign-ups, and its terms of use set out a contract between BOLD LLC and each user, with payments processed by BOLD LLC or Auxiliant S.à.r.l.

If you used Sonara before, read the current terms rather than older reviews: the provider, the billing rules and the refund terms are the ones in the terms last updated November 5, 2024.

How Sonara's billing works

Sonara does not publish prices on its public pages; its terms say the price and renewal terms are stated on the subscription page when you submit your billing information. The terms add that a subscription renews automatically at your next renewal date or before you submit your 11th application, whichever comes first, so sending an 11th application can start the paid renewal early.

Sonara may issue a refund if you tell customer service you are canceling before the end of a trial, and it does not guarantee refunds after a trial has expired. No prorated credit is given for partial use, and canceling does not withdraw applications already delivered to employers.

Applystead publishes its prices: Standard is $200 USD a month, or $840 for a 12-month term, and Premium is $500 USD a month with a 7-day free trial. The free account costs nothing.
