- Apply DevOps and platform enablement practices to improve engineering velocity, software quality, reliability, and operational efficiency through standardized development pathways.
- Collaborate with product, platform, and application engineering teams to understand developer needs and improve workflows, usability, and accessibility.
- Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs, alongside intuitive internal web applications and user-facing interfaces.
- Mentor and coach engineers on architecture, coding standards, DevOps practices, and user experience considerations.
- Facilitate technical deep dives, design reviews, and training sessions to encourage shared learning and consistent engineering standards.
- Evaluate, prototype, implement, manage, and retire technologies based on their suitability and long-term value.
- Contribute to platform roadmaps and translate organizational objectives into actionable technical initiatives.
- Take ownership of systems throughout their lifecycle, supporting reliability, maintainability, security, and ongoing evolution.
- Participate in incident response, production support, troubleshooting, and remediation activities.
- Improve availability, alerting, performance, capacity planning, cost management, recovery processes, and technical debt, using operational feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer delivering large-scale, distributed web applications.
- Strong product thinking and the ability to build engineering communities, influence technical direction, and support shared goals.

- Hands-on experience building internal or user-facing web applications with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue, applying UI/UX and accessibility best practices.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automation, and software delivery pipelines, using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent technologies.
- Practical experience contributing to or operating internal developer platforms, engineering enablement tools, or shared services.
