PRODUCT UPDATES

What’s new on October 19, 2026

The 31 updates to Applystead that went live for every member on .

Behind the scenes: more of your matches prepared together

Applications to some employers' career sites used to be prepared only a few at a time. They are now prepared alongside the rest of your matches instead of waiting their turn.

Your details now answer more employer questions

The details you confirmed, like your work status and background answers, now fill more of the questions employers ask, so more of your applications are completed and sent for you.

Campaigns now send from a domain you already own

If you're on Premium and connected a domain you already own while keeping your current inbox, you can now send campaigns from it too. Open Custom domain, add the sending records listed there and choose Check now. Replies to your campaign emails go straight to your current inbox.

Remote searches skip hybrid jobs, and new matches are checked sooner

If you search for remote work, jobs that are hybrid or in the office are now recognized and left out of your queue. Jobs that match your search are also checked for fit sooner, so more of them reach your queue, and Auto apply sends your ready applications sooner.

Your first 50 applications, ready in minutes

New members now get their first 50 applications tailored at once, most of them within a few minutes of finishing setup. Open a job that's still being tailored and it finishes right there on the page. Tapping Apply also always counts, even if the application was updated a moment before.

Remote searches stay remote

If you search for remote roles only, we now skip jobs whose application asks you to work from an office, commute in or relocate. Those jobs no longer appear in your queue, so the applications we send for you match how you want to work.

Keep your queue to the places you chose

Queue options has a new switch, Jobs elsewhere in your country. Turn it off and your queue sticks to the places in your search, without jobs elsewhere in your state or country or remote jobs based elsewhere.

More employer questions answered for you

Applystead now answers more of the questions employers add to their forms, using what you have told us: the kind of phone you use, how you heard about the job, your veteran status choice, and whether you have worked for the company before. Applications that were waiting on these questions are going out now.

More pay answers now start at the job's listed pay

When a job's posted pay starts above your desired pay, more of our pay answers now use the job's minimum, including many questions you answered before and forms that ask for pay as a plain number. You can turn this off under Pay you're looking for in Your answers.

Queue and Applications are easier to use on phones

On a phone, company names in your Queue and Applications are now easy to tap, the job counts at the top of the Queue line up neatly, and switching to Cards scrolls so the first card's title shows right away.

Clearer privacy details for ads and analytics

Our privacy page now spells out what is shared when you sign up after one of our ads, how Do Not Track is honored until you make your own choice, and the name-free daily page counts we keep. Global Privacy Control still keeps analytics off.

Older application emails now appear in your Mailbox

Confirmation emails employers sent in early October to say they got your application now appear in Updates in your Mailbox, and new ones arrive there as they come in.

Your phone number is filled in correctly on more applications

When you haven't told us your country, we now use the state or province you live in to fill in your phone number's country code, so applications that were waiting on it can go out.

Your Queue says whether Auto apply is sending for you

A line at the top of your Queue now says whether Auto apply is on and sending your ready applications, or off and keeping them for you. When Auto leaves a job for you to decide, its note now says what to do: review it, then Apply or Pass.

See your offer odds, likely pay and time for each interview

Interviews, your Mailbox and your Calendar now show each role's chance of an offer, the pay you'll most likely get, how long the rest of the process may take and what each interview costs you in time. With Full auto on Premium, you can choose what happens when an employer's time clashes with another interview.

Suggested emails show the job they're about

When you open a suggested email from your Mailbox, the draft now names the role and company it's about, with an About the role section showing where the job is, its pay, the start of its description and a link to its Applystead job page. On phones, the Try again button in Mailbox notices is easier to tap.

Exclude staffing agencies now skips more staffing firms

When you exclude staffing and recruiting agencies, we now also skip firms that describe themselves as staffing or recruiting companies, even when their name doesn't say so.

Resume studio Defaults shows your resume switches right away

Defaults in Resume studio now shows your choices for the resumes we make for each job (summary, role name first, one page, only tools you've used) as soon as the studio opens, instead of a moment later.

Full auto never sends a decline for you

Full auto no longer sends a reply that turns something down. Those replies wait in Review drafts, and each one says why it declines, such as which of your reply preferences the message matches. You can send it as it is or change it first, for example with Accept instead.

A calmer, easier-to-read Queue and Applications

Your Queue and Applications show the same details, better organized: your totals, recent applications and interviews sit in a panel beside your jobs, each job is two tidy lines with a More menu for extra actions, applications are grouped by day, and each application opens in one panel (a sheet on phones). Animations are smoother too.

Choose how we answer pay questions

When a job's posted pay starts above your desired pay, we answer with the job's minimum. You can now turn that off under Pay you're looking for in Your answers, and we'll always give your own number.

Behind the scenes: your queue keeps learning

The order we prepare your jobs in, and the answers we write for you, now keep improving on their own as applications get replies. Your settings still decide which jobs are in your queue.

Your first Queue keeps its jobs on screen

Right after setup, the jobs on your Queue now stay put while we tailor your applications. Each one says "Tailoring your application…" and turns ready in place, instead of briefly disappearing while the rest of your Queue fills.

Answer a few questions in your own words

Your answers now suggests a few common questions from your own applications to answer in your own words. Answers in your own words help your applications stand out and can get more replies. It's optional: we still answer every question for you.

Behind the scenes: our monitoring charts load quickly and completely

The charts our team uses to watch sign-ups, site visits, new job listings and running costs now load quickly and show every figure, so we can spot and fix problems sooner. There is nothing for you to do.

Behind the scenes: more reliable applications

When an employer's application page changes between preparing and sending, we now rebuild that application from the page as it is and try once more, instead of repeating a send that could not work. Fewer applications get stuck, and the ones that need a person are flagged sooner.

Behind the scenes: room set aside for new members' first applications

New members' first applications are now prepared on capacity set aside just for them, so a busy moment elsewhere doesn't hold up their first day. We also stopped keeping monitoring data nobody uses, so the view our team uses to watch Applystead stays steady.

Our privacy page covers visits from our Meta ads

When you arrive from one of our Meta ads, we now tell Meta about that visit so it can measure the ad. No account, email or name is sent, and we delete the details within an hour. The privacy page's Advertising measurement section explains it, and Keep analytics off still stops it.

Behind the scenes: a change to the order of application work

We changed the order in which application work is picked up behind the scenes. There is nothing for you to do, and how you use Applystead stays the same.

Behind the scenes: steadier monitoring

The live view our team uses to watch how Applystead is running now has more room, so it keeps running steadily. It also alerts us when people click our ads but their visits don't reach us, or when our main ad account stops running.
