How to use it
- Paste the posting or message. Copy the whole job posting, email or chat message, including any part that talks about pay, equipment, payments or how the interview happens.
- Add the sender's email. If a recruiter contacted you, add the address they wrote from. A personal email domain for a company recruiter is a common warning sign.
- Check before you share anything. Treat each signal as a reason to verify: find the job on the company's own careers page and contact the company through its official site.

What are common signs of a job scam?
Being asked to pay for training or equipment, to deposit a check and send money back, to buy gift cards or crypto, to interview only by text or chat, or to give your bank details or Social Security number before any offer. Pay that is far above normal for no experience is another sign.
Does a clean result mean the job is real?
No. The checker looks for common patterns in the text you paste, so a scam can show none of them. These are signals, not a verdict: confirm the job on the company's own website before you share personal details.
What should I do if I think a job is a scam?
Stop replying, do not send money or personal details, and contact the company through its official website to check whether the job exists. You can also report the posting to the job site where you found it.
Is anything I paste saved or sent?
