Job description
At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking multiple 2027 Interns in Data Science & Digital Innovation teams of Regeneron Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) teams. These teams ensure that high-quality data flows reliably across systems and powers proactive, predictive analytics. They integrate well-governed AI to reduce manual work and streamline sourcing and procurement to cut implementation time. These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide. When & Where: Location: Rensselaer / East Greenbush / Troy, NY Timeframe: Our internship positions are full-time and onsite from May/June-August Pay: Intern and Co-op pay ranges are determined by level of education (year in school) and degree program. The hourly rate range for these locations is: $17.90-$25.50 per hour. What you'll do: Regeneron's manufacturing operations generate enormous amounts of data, and this team builds the tools to make sense of it. Projects range from building dashboards and data visualization tools, to automating statistical analyses, to comparing and trending manufacturing data across batches, sites, and process areas (for example, normalizing observations against production and raw-material consumption rates), to using AI tools — including generative AI — to streamline how documents and datasets are managed. A few projects are better suited to graduate students. Some projects apply advanced statistical methods — such as multivariate analysis, design of experiments, control charts, and forecasting — and report results through business analytics platforms such as Power BI. You don't need a biology background for most of these roles — strong coding and analytical skills matter most. Familiarity with Excel, Python or R, SQL, Power BI, and statistical tools such as JMP is typically required. Relevant majors: Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain Let's find out if we're a fit: Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community preferred Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position) Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred Does this sound like you?
