How to use it
- Describe your background. Write or paste your roles, results with the real numbers, skills and what colleagues come to you for. The statements use only these facts, so specific details give sharper statements.
- Name who you want to reach. Say who should read the statement, such as hiring managers in a field, recruiters or clients. Each statement is written to show that audience what you offer them.
- Pick and refine one. Choose the statement that sounds most like you, adjust the wording, and check that every fact is true. Read it aloud: it should feel natural to say.
- Use it everywhere. Use your statement as the opening line of your profile About section, in your headline, at the top of your resume or when you introduce yourself at networking events.

Frequently asked questions
What is a personal brand statement?
It is one or two sentences that say what you do, who you help and what makes you different, ideally backed by a real result. It gives people a quick, memorable way to understand your value and recommend you to others.
Does the generator make things up?
It is told to use only the facts in your background, and every result is checked before you see it: a number, degree or name your text does not contain is refused and the statements are rewritten once. If it still cannot be written from your facts, nothing is shown and the attempt does not use your free allowance.
How is it different from a headline or summary?
A headline is a short line of keywords and titles, and a summary is a few paragraphs. A brand statement sits between them: one complete sentence you can use to open your About section, your resume summary or an introduction.
How long is each statement?
Each of the three statements is between 20 and 45 words, one sentence you can say in a breath. The three take different angles, such as your skills, a result and the value you bring to your audience.
How many statements can I write for free?
Five generations a day with no account, shared with Applystead's other free AI tools such as the LinkedIn About section generator and the resume summary generator. Each click of the button that returns a result counts as one generation, and the allowance resets at midnight Pacific time.
Is what I type stored?
No. Your text is sent to Applystead only to write the statements and is not stored. Nothing is saved to an account, and there is no account to create. Copy the result you want before you leave the page.
