Job Title: School Registered Nurse Pay Range: $45-55/hour Job Description: Up to $55/hour | Aurora, CO | Full-Time & Part-Time Openings | 2026-2027 School Year | 1:1 Nursing & Full School Nurse Position Details Openings: 1:1 Nursing or Full School Nurse Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time options available Setting: Schools throughout Aurora, CO Start Date: ASAP for 2026-2027 School Year About the Role Hello, RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support students in school-based settings throughout Aurora, CO. Opportunities include both 1:1 nursing and full school nurse positions. You’ll provide hands-on student care, manage health needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with school teams to support student wellness and safety. Why Join Us Competitive pay up to $55/hour + consistent school-year schedule Meaningful, student-centered work with strong district support W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide nursing care based on individual student needs and care plans Monitor and manage student health conditions, injuries, and illnesses Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance Communicate with families regarding student health needs Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and special education teams Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols Support health screenings and student wellness initiatives What We’re Looking For Active Colorado State RN license School Nursing CDE or ability to obtain Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
