Job Title: School Social Worker Pay Range: $50-60/hour Job Description: Up to $60/hour | Aurora, CO | Full-Time & Part-Time Available | 2026-2027 School year | K–12 Caseload Position Details: K–12 Caseload Starting ASAP for the 2026-2027 School year Monday–Friday Schedule About the Role Hello, School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Social Workers to support students in K–12 school settings in Aurora, CO. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing counseling, social-emotional support, crisis intervention, and connecting students and families with resources they need to thrive. You’ll build meaningful relationships with students, collaborate closely with educators and related service providers, and help create a supportive school environment where students can succeed. Why Join Us Competitive pay up to $60/hour + steady school schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Connect families to community resources and supports What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date) Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills School-based experience preferred, not required Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well-being About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-owned company built by providers who understand school-based work.
