Job Title: Paraprofessional Pay Range: $20-28/hour Job Description: Up to $28/hour | Aurora, CO | Full-Time Hours | 2026–2027 School Year | School Based Paraprofessional Position Details: K-12 Caseload Affective Needs/ Mild Moderate Starting ASAP for the 2026-2027 School Year Full-Time Hours, Monday–Friday About the Role Hello, Paraprofessionals! Ampersand Therapy is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals to support students in a K-12 school setting in Aurora, CO. In this role, you’ll provide direct support to students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs while helping them access their education and succeed in the classroom. Why Join Us Competitive pay up to $28/hour + steady school-year schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Ongoing support and mentorship Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide 1:1 or small group support to students in the classroom Assist with implementing behavior plans and classroom strategies Support students with academic tasks and daily routines Help reinforce social, emotional, and communication skills Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment Support students with transitions throughout the school day Maintain basic documentation as needed What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills Ability to follow direction and support behavior and academic plans School-based or paraprofessional experience a plus About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
