Job Title: Retailer Execution Manager - ASDA Location: Kingston Terms & Conditions: Temporary Cover ending 30th June TEAM INTRODUCTION Join the UKI 1UL Retail Execution Team and be part of a team that delivers innovative retail activation and best in class partnerships to make our brands unmissable at the point of purchase for our shoppers. JOB PURPOSE This core purpose of this role to lead the planning execution and evaluation of impactful shopper marketing campaigns with our retailers, spanning across all our BU’s. You will be accountable for the delivery of a clear retailer facing shopper activation plan which links to the BU strategy and key jobs to be done with a seamless connection to the full media plan. You will work closely with both your BU shopper leads and the customer account teams to leverage these plans with our retailers to drive impact and ultimately competitive growth. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As a Retailer Execution Manager, you will be externally facing and sit at the heart of the business, delivering an insight led retailer execution plan which builds Unilever brands in the retailer environment and influences shoppers at the point of purchase. This role will require you to build strong relationships with our retailers, agency partners, account teams and our BU shopper and brand partners. We work in an agile manner, meaning you will need to be adaptable and prioritise your efforts to meet key project deliverables across the Retailer execution team. You can demonstrate team leadership skills as you will manage a team of Retail Execution executives as well as being part of the Retail Execution leadership team, together ensuring key priorities are defined and resources appropriately. This role will also have responsibility for the shopper operations team which supports the wider retail execution team on the management and tracking of shopper budgets in conjunction with the BU shopper leads. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED To succeed in this role, you need a strong understanding of the UK retail landscape and know what it takes to ensure Unilever brands are visible and impactful at the key touchpoints on the shopper journey to purchase. You will need to be an excellent communicator, have strong project management skills and draw on experience in commercial and category/marketing roles. EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS REQUIRED Development of Asda shopper marketing programme across BU’s, aligned to the BU Strategy and Shopper JTBD across, bringing together a relevant omni-channel plan and touchpoints which maximise the visibility for Unilever Leadership of the end-to-end management of impactful shopper campaigns within the retailer from planning, execution and evaluation Utilising store visits and retailer data and insight, create a bank of best practices for the retailer/brand on the most effective touchpoints based upon the campaign objectives Leadership and management of the Asda retail execution execs and shopper marketing operations Lead the external communication with the retailer, representing the shopper and campaign plans in key external forums Define BU/Brand prioritisation of shopper campaigns across the retail execution team and ensure we line-up resource to deliver Management of the BMI shopper budgets for Asda (and wider Retail Exec team), ensuring campaigns and total plan are forecasted and executed to agreed budget campaigns Ensure that artwork meets unmissable POS standards and in line with retailer guidelines, aligning with BU shopper leads SKILLS Shopper Insight and Category Understanding Building and developing retailer relationships A strong understanding of UK retailer landscape Commercial background Retail Media (in-store and digital) Understanding of how to build shopper-led campaigns which deliver against key JTBD Team Leadership including leading and delivering through others Budget Management WHAT WE OFFER Whilst the role is advertised on a full-time basis, we would be happy to discuss possible flexible working options and what this may look like for you.
