PRODUCT UPDATES

What’s new on October 7, 2026

The 7 updates to Applystead that went live for every member on .

Behind the scenes: getting the Applystead apps ready for the app stores

Inside the Applystead iPhone and Android apps, membership pages now show your plan and standing without prices or purchase buttons; billing stays on applystead.com. We also set up a demo account so app store reviewers can try the apps on sample data, never on anyone's real account.

Your Mailbox drafts replies to employers for you to review

On paid plans, when an employer or recruiter writes to you, your Mailbox now drafts a reply. Open Review drafts to edit, send or dismiss each one. Drafts can offer interview times from your connected calendar, and when you accept a time, the interview is added to your calendar. On Premium, Full auto can send replies for you; each waits at least 10 minutes in Scheduled, where you can cancel it.

Applied jobs show up in Applications right away

When you tap Apply on a job in your queue, it now moves to Applications the moment it's recorded. Your Applied totals, the jobs applied in the last 24 hours and the count on Applications update at once, and the job waits at the top of Applications, marked New, when you open it.

Application system pages now start with the jobs hiring on them

Pages about application systems such as Greenhouse and Lever now open with how many roles are open on that system, how many are US remote, and the newest jobs, each linking its job page and company. What each application status means and how to check yours follow below, and they work well on phones.

Behind the scenes: learning which pages help people get started

When analytics are allowed, we now count which of our pages' sign-up links people follow, so we can improve the guides and tools that help job seekers most. Our privacy policy describes the short-lived cookie this uses.

Your Premium free trial now switches on as soon as you start it

Starting the 7-day Premium free trial could leave Premium switched off after checkout. It now switches on as soon as you come back from checkout, on any device. Your membership page also says plainly when your trial ends, what happens then and how to cancel before it, and a free trial is never called a payment.

Your queue keeps filling while jobs wait for your answers

When many jobs are waiting on your answers, Applystead now keeps adding close matches as soon as your list of applications ready to review runs low, so you always have applications to send.
