Included in such responsibility is: the health maintenance; teaching; counseling; collaborative planning; comfort and restoration of optimal functioning. Responsibility often may additionally include the dignified death of our patients. Also, within the parameters of her/his previous and continuing education experiences and the Nurse Practice Act, may delegate nursing activities to other RNs and/or health care personnel. The Critical Care RN provides care that addresses the specific needs of all age groups from adolescent to elderly, and is also individualized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. The Critical Care RN incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission, vision, and values into nursing practice. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Education: BSN Required Experience: 3 years critical care experience or completion of GSMC transition to Critical Care course Certification/Licensure: MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, TCAR or TNCC Must maintain required competencies to perform in a CCU setting. Compensation Range: $38.86- $80.77 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
