Virtual Design Coordinator | Raleigh, NC 100% Employee-Owned · Big-firm resources, local-team relationships, ONE IMEG culture IMEG, formerly Lynch Mykins Structural Engineers, PC, is hiring a Virtual Design Coordinator in Raleigh, NC. This role oversees and manages Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects for all disciplines and serves as a main point of contact for BIM-related questions and concerns for the project team. You will work within project monetary budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The team supports commercial work. At a Glance Location: Raleigh, NC Discipline: Virtual Design Markets: Commercial Ownership: 100% employee-owned (ESOP) Work Schedule: Full-time hybrid Sponsorship: Not available What You'll Do · Communicate with the project manager to determine model setup configuration and project scope requirements. · Attend project meetings with clients and consultants, including BIM project kickoff meetings. · Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and file archival between disciplines and external partners. · Provide team-specific support for Virtual Design software and programs, escalating as needed. · Identify team-specific training and education needs for standards and BIM/Virtual Design tools. · Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards. · Complete model maintenance using established best practices and standards. · Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process. · Follow established modeling and drawing-production standards. · Coordinate models and workflow among design team members. Experience · 2 years of experience minimum, 3 preferred, or equivalent · Revit experience required Required Skills/Abilities · Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management · Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues · Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients · Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook · High level of professionalism Preferred · Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred · Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models preferred About the Team · High-capacity Southeast structural team with especially strong public-sector, education, healthcare, and multifamily presence. · K-12, community college, and university projects. · Healthcare, hospitals, MOBs, and behavioral health. · Municipal, public safety, corrections, and airport / transit work. · Multifamily, affordable housing, and mixed-use developments. · Recent work includes Lenovo Center modifications, Red Hat Amphitheater, Raleigh Convention Center, Commercial; Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Heart and Vascular Institute and Patient Bed Tower / Wilmington, NC, Healthcare; and Wake Forest Student Union, ECU athletics facilities, Duke University softball facilities, Education.
